About Us

Daytona Beach Kennel Club and Poker Room offers year-round entertainment. Established in the summer of 1948, DBKC has been a mainstay in the Daytona Beach entertainment landscape. Conveniently located off I-4 and I-95 on South Williamson Blvd. at the heart of Daytona, near the world famous Daytona International Speedway, DBKC offers Pari-Mutuel wagering and poker room excitement seven days a week. Live Greyhound racing along with simulcast Greyhound, Thoroughbred, Harness and Jai-Alai wagering from the most premier tracks in the country are available to offer a complete entertainment experience.

Daytona Beach Kennel Club is very proud of its implementation of an on-going program named GreenPath. Delaware North Companies, our parent company, created this initiative. Most customers are not familiar with the parks and resorts that DNC operate in very special and scenic locations, such as the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Yellowstone and Kennedy Space Center, to name a few. In recognition of the responsibilities that come with operating in these unique natural locations, All Delaware North Companies http://www.delawarenorth.com/ are committed to responsible stewardship of the resources in all the locales in which they operate.

Daytona Beach Kennel Club & Poker Room has always been concerned about the environment. For years, we have recycled cardboard, paper, fluorescent lighting, electrical ballasts, transformers, refrigerants and many other products. However, DNC is committed to even more through GreenPath, an environmental management system. GreenPath will guide us to be better stewards of our environment using sound environmental, health and safety practices.

As Maintenance Manager, I am charged with the responsibility for coordinating and implementing the GreenPath Program. After two years of working on this, I have to agree with Kermit the Frog when he sang, “It’s not easy being green.” I have searched for products whose contents and methods of production and use have the smallest possible impact on the environment. These are now the preferred products used at DBKC. We will not use any product that has the potential to damage health or the environment. Our mandate is to meet our present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. We will do this by reducing our carbon footprint for minimal depletion of natural resources.

Through GreenPath DBKC will endeavor to reduce or eliminate any adverse environmental impact caused by any products that we use. We are part of something very important here. It is not only the wave of the future; it is the wave of the present.

Thanks You
